About Redirection

Redirection is a focused choice for URL maintenance. Its documented combination of 301 management and 404 tracking lets an operator connect deliberate URL changes with requests that no longer reach content. It is not described here as a general search-optimization suite. Prepare an explicit old-to-new URL map before a migration and choose destinations that match the original page's purpose. After applying changes, test the old address and the final destination rather than assuming a saved rule works. Review unresolved 404s individually; unrelated pages should not automatically become redirect targets. These are evaluation steps, not a claim that BuyPHP has tested your site's redirect rules.
