About WP Crontrol
WP Crontrol belongs in a site-maintenance shortlist when scheduled work needs attention. The official directory describes control of WordPress cron events and explicitly includes WooCommerce stores. That evidence supports a scheduling-focused purpose; it does not justify presenting the plugin as an all-purpose performance optimizer. Before changing an event, identify the component responsible for it and the business task it serves. Record the existing configuration and validate the expected result after any change. For request-level debugging, compare the purpose of a developer diagnostics tool separately. Scheduling inspection and debugging a page request answer different questions, even when both are useful during the same investigation.
